Customized Robin

For customized Robin modules (E.g. no Ethernet chip, more RAM, …), Toradex charges a minimum of 750 Euros for setting up the assembly machine and other costs related to logistics. This charge applies for every production lot.

Please keep in mind that a customized module have some disadvantages compared to a standard Robin:

• minimum lot size 500 pieces.
• Toradex will not take special modules or components at stock. This leads to higher lead times for the modules.
• If special components run end of life, additional costs for new evaluation.

That means, in the most cases it is better to use an already existing Robin variant.
